CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Land in Marlborough Land District surrendered.

NOTICE is hereby given that the surrender of the lease
of the undermentioned section having been accepted
by the Marlborough Land Board, the said land has thereby
reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land
Act, 1908, and its amendments.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
Section 25, Blocks VII and XII, Mount Olympus.

Education Reserve for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned
education reserve will be offered for lease by public
auction, under the provisions of the Education Reserves
Act, 1908, and amendments, and the Public Bodies’ Leases
Act, 1908, at the District Lands Office, New Plymouth, on
Wednesday, the 23rd day of June, 1915, at 11.30 o’clock a.m.
SCHEDULE.
TABANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.—URENUI
TOWN BELT.
SECTION 4: Area, 13 acres 3 roods; upset annual rent, £15;
term, fourteen years.
Comprises easy undulating to flat land in grass.
Terms and Conditions of Lease.
- Lease fee, £2 2s., and half-year’s rent shall be paid upon
he fall of the hammer. - Possession will be given on the 1st day of July, 1915.
- Term of lease is fourteen years, with no right of renewal,
under section 5 (c) of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908. - No transfer, sublease, or subdivision allowed without
consent. - Lessee to cultivate and improve land, and keep it clear
of weeds. Creeks, drains, and watercourses to be kept open. - Interest at rate of 10 per cent. per annum to be paid on
rent in arrear. - No gravel to be removed from land without consent of
the Land Board. - Lessee will not carry on any offensive trade.
- Lessee to give notice to Land Board before making
improvements. - Lessee to pay all rates, taxes, and assessments.
- Lease is liable to forfeiture if conditions are violated.
Form of lease may be perused and full particulars obtained
at this office.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 326 of
the Land Act, 1908, that Section 9, Block IX, Hunua
Survey District, containing 10 acres 1 rood 10 perches, will
be disposed of under the provisions of the said Act on or
after Wednesday, the 19th day of May, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of section 326 of the
Land Act, 1908, that the west part of Section 4,
Block VII, Pouatu, containing approximately 25 acres, will
be disposed of under section 131 of the said Act on or after
Friday, the 6th day of August, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 21 of the
Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, that the under-
mentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease;
and applications will be received at this office up to 4 o’clock
p.m. on Tuesday, 25th May, 1915.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TUAPEKA COUNTY.—WAITAHUNA
EAST SURVEY DISTRICT.
First-class Land.—Waitahuna Settlement No. 1.
SECTION 3A: Area, 314 acres 3 roods; capital value, £2,320
half-yearly rent, £51 10s. 6d.
Situated about a mile and a half from Waitahuna Railway-
station. Access by well-formed road. Undulating land, with
some steep faces. About 200 acres ploughable, remainder
good grazing-land; well watered. Altitude, 500 ft. to 800 ft.
above sea-level.
The improvements (included in the capital value) consist of
boundary and internal fencing, valued at £156 13s. 9d.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 326 of the
Land Act, 1908, that the undermentioned lands will
be offered for sale by public auction for cash, under the pro-
visions of the said Act, on Thursday, 22nd July, 1915, at
11 o’clock a.m.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND COUNTY.
SECTION 897, Block XXVI, Hokonui Survey District.: Area,
36 acres; upset price, £90.
Section 939, Block XXVI, Hokonui Survey District: Area,
20 acres 2 roods 21 perches; upset price, £65.
Section 1, Block IV, Town of Dipton: Area, 14 acres
2 roods 28 perches; upset price, £75.
Sections 897 and 939, Block XXVI, Hokonui, were origin-
ally covered with bush, which has been mostly cleared.
Situated about six miles from Balfour.
Section 1, Block IV, Town of East Dipton, is open low-
lying ground subject to flood; half the section is fair quality
land, the remainder being stony and light.
