A PPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 4th May for the position of Native District Nurse (three) in the following districts: (1) South Bay of Plenty, with district headquarters at Te Kaha; (2) North Bay of Islands, with district headquarters at Awanui or Waipapakauri; (3) Rotorua, with district headquarters at Rotorua.

Special qualifications required are—
Certificates of training as general nurse and midwife, and registration as both in New Zealand.
Applicants must furnish testimonials from a Matron and Medical Superintendent of the training-school where they qualified.
Applicants should state any additional experience they have had, also any knowledge possessed by them of the Maori race and language.
Ability to ride is a desirable qualification.
Further particulars may be seen in the New Zealand Gazette of the 15th instant, or may be obtained from the Permanent Head, Public Health Department, Wellington, and the Superintendent of Native District Nurses, District Health Office, Auckland.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £150 per annum, rising by annual increments of £10 to £200 per annum, with actual travelling expenses when away from headquarters.
