erecting and renovating bridges, erecting and purchasing workers' homes, and purchasing machinery required for carrying out these public works, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/11 of one penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in Waimate West County, comprising the whole of the County of Waimate West, with exception of Manaia Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Waimate West County Council held on the 11th March, 1915.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
