Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Puketapu Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokaanu on Friday, the 19th day of March, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“1. That the parcel of land containing 3,573 acres, being the portion of the said Puketapu Block shown on the survey plan prepared by Messrs. Seaton, Sladden, and Pavitt, and accompanying this application, be sold to the Taringamutu Totara Sawmills (Limited) for the sum of £17,726 10s., to be paid by a deposit of £1,000 upon confirmation of the sale, and thereafter by payments of £1,672 13s. per annum until the whole purchase-money is paid. No interest is to be paid by the company for three years from date of confirmation of sale, but upon expiration of such three years the company is to pay interest upon the balance of the purchase-money from time to time unpaid at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum, payable yearly.
“2. That the parcel of land, containing 4,800 acres, being the portion of the Puketapu Block shown on the survey plan prepared by Messrs. Seaton, Sladden, and Pavitt, and accompanying this application, and bounded on the north-west by other portion of the said block, approximately 39,450 links, on the north by the Waituhi-Kuratau Block, on the south-east by other portion of the said Puketapu Block, approximately 39,540 links, and on the south by the Hohotaka Block, be leased to Reginald Moore, of Johnsonville, settler, for the term of fifty years at the annual rental of £875, payable quarterly, without impeachment of waste.
“3. That the parcel of land, containing 1,456 acres, being the portion of the Puketapu Block shown on the survey plan prepared by Messrs. Seaton, Sladden, and Pavitt, and accompanying this application, be leased to James Joseph Moore, of Johnsonville, settler, for the term of fifty years at the annual rental of £250, payable quarterly, without impeachment of waste.
“4. That the parcel of land, containing 4,800 acres, being the portion of the Puketapu Block shown on the survey plan prepared by Messrs. Seaton, Sladden, and Pavitt, and accompanying this application, and bounded on the north-west and north by the Pungapunga Stream and the Waituhi-Kuratau No. 2 and 2a Blocks, on the south-east by other portion of the Puketapu Block, and on the south by the Hohotaka Block, be leased to Frank Thomas Moore, of Johnsonville, settler, for a period of fifty years at the annual rental of £875, payable quarterly, without impeachment of waste.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whangaihe No. 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaeo on Wednesday, the 17th day of March, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the said land be revested in the Native owners.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kaingapipiwai No. 1d will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kaeo on Wednesday, the 17th day of March, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the said land be revested in the Native owners.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Puketarata No. 3 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Shannon on Tuesday, the 16th day of March, 1915, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the land be sold to John Burgess Teasdale, jun., for the sum of £3 10s. per acre.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Okauia No. 3A, Section 1, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Otaki on Tuesday, the 16th day of March, 1915, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed alternative resolution:—
“1. That the land be leased to Annie Goodison for a term of forty-two years at an annual rental of 1s. 6d. per acre during the first twenty-one years, and 3s. 6d. per acre during the remaining twenty one years.
“2. That the land be sold to Annie Goodison for the sum of £1 10s. per acre.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waihi S.D. Section 1, Block IV, and Section 1, Block VII, will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Maketu on Wednesday, the 10th day of March, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a proposed alienation of the said land by way of sale to Thomas Hannon shall be agreed to.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rangitaiki Lot 33J will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whakatane on Friday, the 19th day of March, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a proposed alienation of the said land by way of sale to Leonard Wilfred Sisam shall be agreed to.”
