ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Derwent Street, Island Bay, adjoining Sections 411, 412, 417, and 418 on D.P. 127. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38771, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Increasing the Holding-area of Land to Settlers in Pohonui Village Settlement, Wellington Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council issued on the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine, under the authority of section two hundred and three of the Land Act, 1908, fixing the terms and conditions upon which lands in the Pohonui Village Settlement should be disposed of, it was provided that no lessee should hold more than one allotment in the said village settlement :
And whereas it is expedient to allow one person to hold more than one allotment in the Pohonui Village Settlement :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance of all powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Dominion of New Zealand, doth hereby amend the Order in Council aforesaid so far as it affects the number of allotments that may be held in the Pohonui Village Settlement, and doth by this present Order declare that on and after the date hereof any settler may apply for and acquire more than one allotment therein ; and it is hereby further declared that all the provisions of the Order in Council of the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and nine, aforesaid shall apply to the Pohonui Village Settlement, except as regards the number of allotments that may be held.

Prescribing Dues and Rates for the Use of the Marakopa Wharf and Shed.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section two hundred and eight of the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that a Harbour Board may make by-laws providing for the levy of harbour-improvement rates, not exceeding two shillings per ton, on all goods discharged at or shipped from the port :
And whereas it is provided by section nine of the said Act that in harbours where there is no Harbour Board the Governor in Council shall have all the powers, functions, and duties by the said Act conferred upon Harbour Boards, and may exercise the same in accordance with the said Act :
And whereas, by Order in Council dated the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, John Wouldes, James Patterson, Francis John Templeman, Matthew Joseph Kinnane, Lewis Klein, Edward Sarninghausen, Claude Clarence Walker, John Bell, Edward Philip Hally, William Sturroch Scott, Allen Reid, and Percy Soundy, as trustees for the inhabitants of the district (hereinafter called “the trustees”), were licensed to occupy a site for a wharf and shed at Marakopa :
And whereas it is desirable to provide for the levy of a harbour-improvement rate, as hereinafter set forth, to be levied by the trustees on all goods discharged at or shipped from the Port of Marakopa, to provide funds for the maintenance of the said wharf and shed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following by-law ; and doth hereby order and declare that it shall come into force on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
BY-LAW.
(1.) A CHARGE of 1s. per ton shall be made to and be payable by ships as a harbour-improvement rate on all goods landed at or shipped from the Port of Marakopa. Such rate shall be paid by the masters of the ships to the trustees :
Provided that this by-law shall not apply to cargo landed on or shipped from the wharf at Marakopa which was built by the trustees hereinbefore referred to under the authority of an Order in Council dated the 26th day of September, 1913, and which is shown on plan marked M.D. 3820 (two sheets), such plan being deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
For the purposes of this by-law the following measurements may be taken :—
Empties .. Half tonnage.
Timber .. 500 superficial feet to the ton.
Wool .. 5 bales to the ton.
Bricks and slates .. 500 ,,
Loose hides .. 25 ,,
Great cattle .. Each 1 ton.
Small cattle .. 12 to the ton.
Carts and carriages .. Each 2 tons.

Revocation of an Order in Council under Section 296 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of November, 1915.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and ninety-six of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any Order in Council made under Part XVI of that Act, or under Part II of the Native Land Settlement Act, 1907, may be at any time revoked, either wholly or as to any part or parts of the land included therein, by the Governor by Order in Council ; and thereupon the land so subject to that Part of that Act shall, to the extent of that revocation, cease to be so subject : No land shall by reason of any such Order of revocation cease to be subject to that Part of that Act at any time during the continuance of the term of any lease of that land granted by a Maori Land Board under that Part of that Act (including in that term the term of any renewal to which the licensee is entitled) :
And whereas a parcel of land known as Mangaheia 2A 2 and 2A 3 Blocks has, by an Order in Council dated the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nine, been brought under the provisions of Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909 : And whereas application has been made to revoke the said Order in Council in so far as it affects the said parcel of land :
And whereas the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board recommends accordingly : And whereas it is expedient so to do :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council in so far as it affects Mangaheia 2A 2 and 2A 3 Blocks ; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.
