THE Minister of Finance directs me to acknowledge the receipt of the sum of one shilling and twopence forwarded to the Stamp Department as conscience-money in reference to certain insufficiently stamped receipts.

Notice to make Returns of Income from Land under the Land and Income Assessment Act, 1908, and Amendment Acts, 1912 and 1913, and the Finance Act, 1915.
Land and Income Tax Department,
Wellington, 18th November, 1915.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of the above Acts and the regulations made thereunder, every person and company having derived income from land within the meaning of the said Acts during the year ending 31st March, 1915, is hereby required to make and furnish to me returns of such income on or before the 4th December, 1915.
And, further, notice is hereby given that such returns shall in all cases be delivered at or forwarded to the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, in the Government Buildings at Wellington.
