A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners and lessees of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Rangitikei County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Wangaehu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Recreation-ground in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, for the purposes of a recreation-ground in Block XI, Belmont Survey District, City of Wellington :

And whereas an agreement has been entered into between the Wellington City Council and the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a recreation-ground :

And whereas the Wellington City Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, as required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said recreation-ground, and shall as from the date hereinafter specified vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 3 roods 4·3 perches.

Being Lots 121 and 122 on D.P. 2644, being part Section 2 (Harbour District R.D.), City of Wellington.

Situated in Block XI, Belmont Survey District.

Altering Boundaries of Aorangi Drainage District, County of Kairanga.

At the Government House at Wellington, this eighth day of November, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Aorangi Drainage Board, being of the opinion that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Kairanga, and not included in the Aorangi Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as the said district), are deriving benefit from the drainage-works carried out by the said Board, did, in accordance with the provisions of section six of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), present a petition to His Excellency the Governor praying that the boundaries of the said district might be altered so as to include such lands in the said district :

And whereas in respect thereof a Commission has been appointed to inquire and report as to the several matters mentioned in subsection three of section six of the said Act :
