SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 13·62 perches.
Portion of Lot 345 on D.P. 172, being portion of Original
Section 4, Town District R.D., City of Wellington.
Situated in Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38890,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second

Land taken for the Development of the Lake Coleridge Water-power Scheme in Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme in Block
XIII, Coleridge Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in
terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such
land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation
taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the
agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby taken for the development of the Lake Coleridge
water-power scheme as aforesaid; and I also hereby declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and
fifteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 141 acres
1 rood 24 perches.
Portion of Rural Sections 29261, 30100, and 30101 (Canterbury R.D.), Block XIII, Coleridge Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38409,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Further
Portion of the Stratford–Kawakawa Railway (Portion o
Tahora Section) and for Road-diversions in connection
therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act,
1909, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue
or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, or the making or gazetting thereof, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary
And whereas it is found that portions of the land taken for a further portion of the Stratford–Kawakawa Railway (portion of Tahora Section), and for road-diversions in connection therewith, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1908, dated the second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 56, pages 2338 and 2339, of the fourth day of the same month, are not now required for the purpose for which they were taken:
And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, or
