IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the HUMPHRIES PATENT BRACKET AND SCAFFOLD COMPANY (LIMITED), in Liquidation.
THE creditors of the above-named company, which is being voluntarily wound up, are required, on or before the 30th day of October, 1915, being the day fixed by the undersigned for that purpose, to send their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts and claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to E. J. COLLEY, of Wellington, the Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are by their solicitors to come in and prove their said debts or claims at the office of E. J. COLLEY, 18 Grey Street, Wellington; or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

EPSOM ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Epsom Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500, authorized to be raised by the Epsom Road Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing water-supply to a portion of the district, the said Epsom Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-farthing in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property, in the special-rating area comprising all that area or portion of the Epsom Road District bounded—commencing at the south-east corner of Lot 31 of Allotment 57, Section 10; thence by a line along the western side of the Drive to the junction of the Drive with Gillies Avenue; thence along the southern side of Gillies Avenue to the north-west corner of Lot 3 of Allotment 66; thence along the western side of Gillies Avenue to the junction of Gillies Avenue with Epsom Avenue; thence along the southern side of Epsom Avenue to the junction of Epsom Avenue and Owen’s Road; thence along the eastern boundary of Allotments 12, 13, and 47 of Section 10; thence along the southern side of part of Disraeli Street and part of the southern boundary of Allotment 49 to the north-western corner of Lot 6 of Allotment 68, Section 10; thence along the line running from the said north-western corner of Lot 6 to the south-eastern corner of Lot 36 of Allotment 78; thence along the north side of Landscape Road to the south-western corner of Allotment 15 of the same allotment; thence along the northern side of Selwyn Place to the starting-place. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of April and the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Inhabitants of the Epsom Road Road District was affixed hereto at the ordinary meeting and by order of the Epsom Road Board on the 28th day of September, 1915, in the presence of—

PANMURE TOWNSHIP ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE re LOAN (£900), TAMAKI BRIDGE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Panmure Township Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of nine hundred pounds (£900), authorized to be raised by the Panmure Township Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, to pay the proportion of the cost of rebuilding a bridge over the Tamaki River at Panmure, which the Panmure Township Road Board was ordered to pay by Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor bearing date the 28th day of April, 1914, the Panmure Township Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅚d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property within the whole of the Panmure Township Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off. It is further resolved that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year’s interest thereon shall be paid out of such loan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true extract from the minute-book of the Panmure Township Road Board at a meeting held on 9th September, 1915.

TOWN DISTRICT OF HIKURANGI.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR REPAYMENT OF A LOAN.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hikurangi Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing instalments in respect of the principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of four thousand pounds (£4,000), authorized to be raised by the Hikurangi Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling and channelling and kerbing streets and footpaths, including construction of a traffic-bridge in reinforced concrete over the Mangawhero Stream in King Street, Hikurangi Town District, the said Hikurangi Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and seven-eighths (1⅞d.) in the pound (£) on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Hikurangi Town District. Such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at an ordinary and properly constituted meeting of the Hikurangi Town Board held at 7.30 p.m. on the fifth day of October, 1915.

TAURANGA SAWMILLING COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the office of the Public Trustee, Auckland, on the 6th day of October, 1915, the following extraordinary resolution was carried, viz.:—
“That is has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that ERNEST GERARD, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

THE MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT, 1908, AND THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
IN pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland hereby gives notice that it intends to divert and straighten Vincent Road, Remuera, within the City of Auckland, and do all things incidental thereto, and for the purpose and object of so doing the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required and will require to be taken by the said Corporation under the provisions of the above Acts; and that a survey has been made and a plan prepared signed by M. H.
