SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land: 53 acres 0 roods 27 perches, portion of railway reserve in Malvern County; and 1 rood 9 perches, portion of railway reserve in Paparua County. (S.O. 183v.)

Situated in Block XII, Hawkins Survey District, and Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Rolleston Survey District.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 22803, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured yellow and green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waharoa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, 1915.

Present:

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eight, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Waharoa Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JOHN TYSON,
ROBERT AXEL FORSMAN,
ARTHUR JOHN TONG,
JAMES BLYTHE, and
SAMUEL SALISBURY

to be the Waharoa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. A. J. Tong’s office at Waharoa as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

WAHAROA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 3 acres 0 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Section 28, Waharoa Township, Block XIII, Wairere Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Duncan Street, 50 links; towards the north-east and again towards the north-west by Section 26, Waharoa Township, 875 and 571·4 links respectively; again towards the north-east by Section 10A, Block XIII, Wairere Survey District, 150 links; towards the south-east, again towards the north-east and north-west by Section 27 of the aforesaid township, 571·4, 875, and 571·4 links respectively; again towards the north-east by Section 10A aforesaid, 50 links; again towards the south-east by Cadman Street, 721·4 links; towards the south-west by Cadman Street aforesaid and Sections 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Block IV, Waharoa Township aforesaid, 925 links; again towards the north-west by McGowan Street, 100 links; and again towards the south-west by Mills Street, 1025 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/59, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 17911, blue.)

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Pounawea Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

MATTHEW LATTA,

ANDREW MOFFAT

to be the Pounawea Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Territorial Hall, Owaka, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

POUNAWEA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 31, 53, 54, 55, 58, 59, 60, and 61, and an intersecting closed road, Block VI, Glenomaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west, north, and east by a public road running along the right bank of the Owaka River; and towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 62, 57, 56, and 52, being subdivisions of Original Section No. 31, Block VI aforesaid. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21313, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section nine of the Crimes Amendment Act, 1910, it is enacted that there shall be constituted a Board to be called the Prisons Board, consisting of not less than three nor more than seven persons: And whereas by the said section it is provided that the members of the Board shall be appointed from time to time by the Governor in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Crimes Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

GIBBES CLAUDE BORLASE JORDAN, Esq., Under-Secretary for Justice,

to be a member of the Prisons Board constituted under the Crimes Amendment Act, 1910, as aforesaid.
