Amending General Regulations under the Motor Regulation Act, 1908.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and ten, regulations (hereinafter called “the said regulations”) were made under and for the purposes of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908:
And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations to the extent hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations by adding to the second paragraph of clause four thereof the words “In the case of a motor-cycle the registering authority may require the registered number to be fixed both at the front and rear thereof”; and doth hereby declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing, Auckland Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seven, regulations (hereinafter referred to as “the said regulations”) were made for trout-fishing in the Auckland Acclimatization District: And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations to the extent hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby amend the said regulations by omitting therefrom the word “November” wherever it appears and inserting the word “October,” and by omitting from clause 10 thereof the words “thirty-first day of October” and inserting the words “thirtieth day of September.”

Appointing Member of Assessment Court under the Valuation of Land Act, 1908.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, 1915.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the person mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be a member of the Assessment Court for the special district set opposite his name.

Authorizing the Judges of the First Division of the Court of Appeal to sit with the Judges of the Second Division to hear Special Case.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nine of the Judicature Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that each division of the Court of Appeal shall sit and exercise its jurisdiction separately, save that in respect of any sitting of either division the Governor in Council may, on the certificate of two Judges (of whom the Chief Justice shall be one) that any appeal or other proceeding is of special difficulty or importance, authorize all the Judges of the other division to sit together with those of the former division for the hearing and determination of that appeal or proceeding:
And whereas in the case of Rex v. Peter Francis Rogan a case was stated by the Honourable Mr. Justice Chapman for the opinion of the Court of Appeal, under the provisions of section four hundred and forty-two of the Crimes Act, 1908: And whereas the case so stated stands for hearing and determination before the Second Division of the Court of Appeal at the sitting commencing on the twenty-seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen: And whereas the Honourable Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of New Zealand, and the Honourable John Edward Denniston, one of the Judges of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, have certified that the aforesaid case is one of special importance:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Judges of the First Division of the Court of Appeal to sit with the Judges of the Second Division of the Court of Appeal for the hearing and determination at the aforesaid sitting of the case so stated in respect of the said Peter Francis Rogan.

Consenting to a Mortgage of Native Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of August, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that no instrument of alienation of Native land by way of mortgage or charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of mortgage of the block or parcel of land set out in the Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.
