“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,475, authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of clearing, forming, and metalling that portion of the Oeo Road from the Skeet Road to a point about 160 chains south of the Skeet Road, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-five twenty-sevenths (25/27ths) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the said special-rating area; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and be payable yearly on the first day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off, the rate of interest to be 4½ per centum. The cost of raising the loan, and the first year’s interest, to be paid out of the said loan.”

WEber COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Weber County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Weber County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the main road and reforming and metalling the byroads in the said county, the said Weber County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen thirty-seconds of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Weber; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Weber County Council held on the 14th day of August, 1915; and the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Weber was affixed hereto at the same time and in the presence of—

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between JAMES WILSON and GEORGE MARTIN SPARKE, both of St. Andrews, carrying on business as Threshing-mill Proprietors at St. Andrews and surrounding districts, under the style or firm of “Wilson & Sparke,” has been dissolved as from the eleventh day of August, 1915, by mutual consent.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said GEORGE MARTIN SPARKE, who will carry on the said business in his own name. Dated this 17th day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR A SPECIAL LOAN OF £423.
THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Napier Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the loan of £423, authorized to be raised by the said Council, under the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, for the purpose of paying a levy made by the Hawke’s Bay Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for capital works, the said Napier Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one one-hundred-and-eighty-eighth (1/188th) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Napier Borough Council at a meeting held on the 16th day of August, 1915.

ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL.
ASHLEY COUNTY COUNCIL HEAVY TRAFFIC BY-LAW, 1915.
A BY-LAW to amend the Ashley County Council Heavy Traffic By-law, 1913, and make new provisions in respect of heavy traffic.
Powers and Authorities.
In pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Counties Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and amendments, and of all and every power in that behalf, the Ashley County Council, acting on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashley, hereby makes by special order this by-law.
Short Title.
The Short Title of this by-law shall be the Ashley County Heavy Traffic By-Law, 1915.
This by-law shall be read with and form part of the Ashley County Heavy Traffic By-Law, 1913, in like manner as if the same had been enacted therein, and shall come into force on the seventh day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Every person driving an engine engaged in heavy traffic, or the transportation of which in itself constitutes heavy traffic, on or along any of the roads or portions of roads mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall, when practicable, drive such engine (except as mentioned in the two succeeding clauses) wholly on the left or near side of the centre-line of such road.

Every person driving an engine engaged in heavy traffic, or the transportation of which in itself constitutes heavy traffic, on or along any of the said roads shall, whilst such engine is overtaking or passing any wheeled traffic on the said road going in the same direction, when practicable, drive such engine so as to pass such wheeled traffic on the right or off side of such wheeled traffic.

During wet weather, except when meeting or overtaking wheeled traffic on the said roads, it shall be permissible to drive an engine engaged in heavy traffic, or the transportation of which in itself constitutes heavy traffic, along the crown or centre of such roads.
