SUMMARY FOR JULY, 1915.
The only atmospheric depressions affecting the weather unfavourably were one of moderate intensity which passed in the South on the 10th, and an intense and extensive westerly “low” ruling between the 19th and 24th.
The latter was responsible for some very heavy rains in all the western districts, and on this account those portions of the Dominion had a total rainfall for the month much above the average.
In the eastern half of the Dominion conditions were dry, and the aggregate rainfall was below normal. On the whole the weather was mild and fair for a winter month.
