Special Prohibitions and Observations.	Place of Destination.
Prohibitions.—Same as France, except that tobacco is admitted without restriction.	French Congo.
Prohibitions.—Same as France, except that tobacco is admitted. Observations.—The service extends to Cayenne and Saint Laurent-du-Maroni. Parcels for other places are accepted, but must be claimed at one of those offices.	French Guiana.
Prohibitions.—Same as France. Observations.—Insurance confined to parcels for Bissikrima, Boffa, Boké, Conakry, Dabola, Dubréka, Kindia, Kouroussa, and Mamou. Parcels addressed to places other than Conakry are liable to a further charge on delivery.	French Guinea.
Prohibitions.—Same as France, with the addition of opium, leaves and flowers of Indian hemp. Medicine, Havana tobacco, and playing-cards are, however, admissible. Observations.—Via Hong Kong: Parcels somewhat exceeding 2 ft. in length are admitted if their other dimensions are small. Via India: 2 ft. in any direction. Parcels containing umbrellas, sticks, maps, plans, or similar articles will be accepted up to a maximum of 3 ft. 3 in. in length, provided they do not exceed 7½ in. in breadth or thickness. French Indo-China includes Annam, Cambodia, Cochin China, Laos, and Tonquin.	French Indo-China.
Prohibitions.—Same as France, except that tobacco is admitted. Observations.—The French Settlements of Oceania comprise the Society Islands, Gambier Archipelago, Marquesas Islands, Touamotou, Leeward Islands, and Tubuai.	French Settlements of Oceania.
Prohibitions.—Same as France. Observations.—Parcels for places other than Jibouti must be claimed at Jibouti, and the name of that place should appear in the address.	French Somali Coast.
Prohibitions.—Same as France, except that tobacco is admitted. Observations.—Parcels for all places in Martinique are accepted, but a charge is made for conveyance from Fort de France, the port of disembarkation. The delivery of parcels for places in Guadeloupe other than Basse-Terre and Pointe-a-Pitre gives e to a charge which is collected from the addressees.	French West Indies.
Prohibitions.—Bullion exceeding £5 in value, oilskins and similar goods.	Gambia.
