WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.

Notice of Result of Poll to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of that portion of the Wanganui County comprised in the Wangaehu Road Metalling Loan Special-rating District was taken on the 15th day of December, 1914, on the proposal of the Wanganui County Council to raise a loan of £3,000 for the purpose of metalling the Wangaehu Road from the mouth of the Pangarara Stream to the Karioi Railway-station.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 16. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 0.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Hamilton taken on the 16th day of December, 1914, on the proposal of the Hamilton Borough Council to borrow the sum of £1,500 for the following purpose—to alter and improve the saleyards at Hamilton West, and to erect a caretaker’s cottage at or near the said saleyards—the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 365, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 136; informal, 3: total, 504.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
