In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and of the Invicta Trading Company Proprietary (Limited).
PURSUANT to the provisions of section 302 of the Companies Act, 1908, I, MARK STEEDS, of Christchurch, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Manager, Attorney of the Invicta Trading Company Proprietary (Limited), hereby give notice that the said company proposes to commence and carry on business in the said Dominion, and that the office where legal process of any kind may be served upon it, and notices of any kind may be addressed or delivered, is situate at No. 127 Lichfield Street, Christchurch, aforesaid.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the New Zealand Motor Supply Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the company’s registered office, Tancred Street, Ashburton, on the fifteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.”
And at the same meeting WILLIAM ANDERSON, of Ashburton, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a specially convened meeting of the shareholders of Wilson, Fraser (Limited) held at the registered office of the company, Dee Street, Invercargill, on the 21st day of September, 1914, the following extraordinary resolution was unanimously passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue the business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same; and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”

THE Partnership hitherto existing between ROBERT USHER HARDEN and ARTHUR JOHN GIDDINGS, trading in Masterton as Sawmillers, under the style or firm of “Harden and Giddings,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 23rd day of November, 1914. The said Robert Usher Harden retires from the firm, and the said ARTHUR JOHN GIDDINGS will continue to carry on the business, and will discharge all liabilities of the firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned as Contractors and Bathing-shed Proprietors at Takapuna and elsewhere, under the style of “Page and Barker,” is dissolved by mutual consent. The said business will in future be carried on by Mr. C. F. BARKER, who will pay all outstanding accounts of and receive all moneys due to the Partnership.

THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
IN pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, the Puhoi Road Board hereby gives notice that it intends to form a road through Allotment 32 and the northern part of Allotment 29 of the Parish of Ahuroa, within the Puhoi Road District, and do all works and things incidental thereto; and that for the purpose and object of so doing the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken by the said Board under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act; and that a survey has been made and a plan prepared showing such piece of land, together with the names of the owners and occupiers thereof so far as they can be ascertained; and that a copy of such plan has been deposited in the office of the Clerk of the said Board at Puhoi, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the fourth day of January, 1915 (being the date of the first publication of this notice), to the Clerk of the Puhoi, Road Board at Puhoi.

PAPARATA ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Paparata Road Board, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to take for the purposes of a new road the land described in the Schedule hereto. A plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited at the residence of the undersigned at Bombay, where it may be inspected by all persons at reasonable hours. All persons affected who have any well-grounded objections to the making of the said road or to the taking of the land therefor are hereby called upon to state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the 11th day of December, 1914 (being the date of the first publication of this notice), to the Chairman, Paparata Road Board, Bombay, Auckland.
