- “Deferred pay” not to be earned by medal except during the period when the holder has also three good-conduct badges.
MULCTS AND DEDUCTIONS.
- (v.) Except in cases mentioned in 3 (h), a day’s pay for the purpose of mulcts and deductions shall mean full active pay and allowances credited on the ledger, but not extra pay, ration, uniform, lodging, and kindred allowances.
MISCELLANEOUS ALLOWANCES (PETTY OFFICERS AND MEN).
- (vi.) The following allowances will also be granted, being added to “active pay,” but no increase will be made in “deferred pay” :—
(The allowances marked * refer to non-substantive ratings, and will be paid in accordance with the conditions governing payment of such allowances as laid down in the King’s Regulations; others, so long as the rating is actually performing the special duty, &c.).
