Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Pudding Hill Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1914.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Pudding Hill Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fifteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE ASHBURTON COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Pudding Hill Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at four o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the office of the County Council at Ashburton as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
PUDDING HILL DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 87 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being reserve numbered 3743, Block VIII, Hutt Survey District. Bounded north-eastward by a public road, 2865·1 links; south-eastward generally by rural section numbered 16809, a public road, Rural Section 2871, and Reserve 3315, 4149·9 links; north-westward generally by Reserve 3315, 859·6 links, and also by a public road, 4662·2 links, to the commencing-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/544A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.

Vesting a Reserve in the Otamatea County Council.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1914.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved as a site for a public pound: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Otamatea County:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Otamatea County, in trust, as a site for a public pound.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section 21, Suburbs of Raupo (Block XV, Tokatoka Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by Section 12, Suburbs of Raupo, 400 links; towards the south-east by Omaru Road, 250 links; towards the south-west and north-west by Section 13, Suburbs of Raupo aforesaid, 400 and 250 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/695, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 16711, blue.)

Vesting a Gravel Reserve in the Ohakune Borough Council.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1914.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been permanently reserved for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ohakune:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ohakune, in trust, for gravel purposes.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Section 7, Ohakune Village Settlement. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 9, Ohakune Village Settlement, 810·6 links; towards the south-east by Miro Road, 623·64 links; towards the south-west by Section 6, Ohakune Village Settlement, 785·35 links; and towards the north-west by Mangawhero Terrace, 236 and 388·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/1684; deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Vesting Reserves in the Rangataua Town Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of August, 1914.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as an endowment or for the use of the Town Board of the Rangataua Town District: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Rangataua Town Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Rangataua Town Board, in trust, as an endowment or for the use of the said Town Board.
