Additional Land between Wellington and Petone taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Hutt Railway and Road Improvement).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Hutt Railway and Road improvement) to take further land between Wellington and Petone, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Woodville to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
And whereas the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway by a Proclamation dated the nineteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five: And whereas the said parcel of land is not now required for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway, and the Minister has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued declaring such parcel of land to be Crown land:
