WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—OHURA ROAD
(CENTRAL RIDING) £2,500 LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
the State Advances Act, 1913, the Whangamomona County
Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the
Whangamomona County Council, under the above-mentioned
Acts, for the purpose of metalling the Ohura Road in the
Central Riding from its junction with the Mangare Road
to the Kohuratahi Railway-station, or so far as the money
will allow of, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one penny three farthings
(1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rate-
able property in the Ohura Road (Central Riding) Special
Loan of £2,500 Special-rating District, as defined by the
special rate roll for the said district; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of
January and the first day of July in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Whangamomona County Council held on the 23rd day of
June, 1914, in accordance with the Acts authorizing and
regulating Government loans to local bodies.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ALBERT.
COPY OF RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE PASSED AT A
MEETING OF THE MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL,
10TH AUGUST, 1914.
Moved by the Mayor, Mr. Murdoch McLean; seconded by
Councillor T. B. Clay.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £3,000, under the above-mentioned Act
(being 10 per cent. additional upon previous loan of £30,000),
for the completion of the construction of a portion of the
New North Road (allocation "B" in previous loan), the said
Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one-thirtieth of a penny in the pound upon
the rateable property of the Mount Albert Borough; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
30th day of September in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.
Carried unanimously.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the
resolution passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a
meeting held on Monday, 10th August, 1914.

DIXON'S CONSOLIDATED GOLD-MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED).
IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary general
meeting of the above company will be held at the
office of the Liquidator, Nos. 218 & 219 Victoria Arcade,
Queen Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 16th day of
September, 1914, at the hour of half past eleven o'clock in
the forenoon, for the purpose of laying before such meeting
the Liquidator's account showing his acts and dealings, and
the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been
conducted and its assets disposed of; and, further, to pass,
if thought fit, the following extraordinary resolution :-
"That the books, accounts, and documents of the company
and of the Liquidator be destroyed."

WHANGAMARINO ROAD BOARD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Whangamarino Road Board hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for providing the interest and other charges on a
loan of £310, being 10 per cent. on the loan of £3,140, autho-
rized to be raised by the Whangamarino Road Board, under
the above-mentioned Act, for forming and metalling roads
in the Waerenga Subdivision Special-rating District, the said
Whangamarino Road Board hereby makes and levies a
special rate of one-sixtieth of a penny in the pound (1/60th
of a 1d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of
the Waerenga Subdivision Special-rating District, with the
exception of Sections Nos. 481, 499, 480, 390, 391, 477A,
476, 398, 429, 428 ; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty-six and one-half years (36½ years), or until the loan
is fully paid off.
