A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in favour of HENRY BUCKLAND, late of Kiatoa Station, near Waikouaiti, Sheep-farmer, for parts of a closed road intersecting part of Section 3, and between parts of Sections 22 and 23 and parts of Sections 19 and 24, Block V, Waikouaiti District, being the land contained in certificate of title, Volume 116, folio 55, and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall issue a provisional certificate of title as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between WILLIAM FRANCIS INDER and DUNDONALD McLEAN COCHRANE, carrying on business as Solicitors at Gore, under the style or firm of “Inder & Cochrane,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the thirtieth day of June, 1914.

All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by WILLIAM FRANCIS INDER.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Karaunui Dredging Company (Limited).

N OTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the seventh day of April presented to the Honourable William Alexander Sim, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by the Otago Central Foundry and Engineering Company (Limited), of Alexandra South, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.

I N pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, the body corporate called the Education Board of the District of Wanganui hereby gives notice that it intends to acquire, for the purposes of a public-school site, the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and do all works and things incidental thereto; and for the purpose and object of so doing the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required and will require to be taken by the said Board under the provisions of the above Act; and that a survey has been made and a plan prepared and signed by Edwin Allman Marchant, Licensed Surveyor, (red) showing such land, together with the names of the owners and occupiers thereof so far as they can be ascertained; and that a copy of such plan has been deposited in the office of the Education Board of the District of Wanganui, situate in Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, the place directed by the said Board, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected are hereby required t set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Education Board, Wanganui.
