Whangarei County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of metalling the Hikurangi—Jordan—Otakairangi Road, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the capital value) lying within the Hikurangi Special-rating Area, the boundaries of which are as follows: Bounded commencing at a point on the western boundary-line of Section 11, Block XIV, Hukerenui S.D.; thence north-east to the western boundary-line of Section 9, Block XIV, Hukerenui S.D.; thence north-west along the boundary-line of Section 9 to its junction with road at the south of Section 7; thence east along the said road to the south-eastern boundary corner of Section 6A; thence north-east along the boundary-line of Section 6 to its junction with block-line; thence along the block-line between Blocks X and XIV and XI and XV, Hukerenui S.D., to its intersection with the Whakapara Stream at the south-east corner of Section 2323, Block XI; thence generally along the said stream following its course to the southern corner boundary of Section 96, Block XV, Hukerenui S.D.; thence south-east along the road bounding the south-west of Section 8 to the eastern boundary corner between Sections 8 and 11; thence by a straight line north-east across Section 8 to road bounding the west of Section 92; thence south by the eastern boundary of Section 8 to the western corner of Section 71, Block XVI, Hukerenui S.D.; thence north-east along the boundary of Section 71 to the western boundary of Section 70 to junction with road at west of Section 69; thence along the north and eastern boundary-lines of Section 69 to angle in road at the south-west corner of Section 5; thence south-easterly along the said road to the eastern boundary corner of Section 6, Block V, Purua S.D.; thence west along the southern boundary-line of Section 6 to the north-eastern boundary of Section 78, Block V, Purua S.D.; thence south along the eastern boundary-line of Section 78 to its junction with road; thence west along the said road to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section 81; thence south and south-west along the eastern and southern boundary-line of Section 81 to the parish boundary; thence north along the west boundary of Section 81 to the south-east boundary corner of Section 2, Block LV, Purua S.D.; thence along the south boundary-line of Section 2 to road bounding Papakuri; thence south-west along the said road and eastern boundary of Papakuri to its south-east corner; thence along the south boundary-line of Papakuri to the south-eastern boundary-line of Kopuniaho 392; thence south to the southern corner of Kopuniaho 392; thence north along the western boundary-line of Kopuniaho 392 to its junction with Wairua River; thence south-west following the Wairua River to the south-western corner of Section 5, Block III, Purua S.D.; thence north-west along the western boundary-line of Sections 5 and 20 to the eastern corner of Section 17; thence south-west along the boundary-line of Sections 17 and 16; thence north-west along the western boundary-line of Sections 16 and 15 to the south-east boundary corner of Section 22, Block XIII, Hukerenui S.D.; thence west along the southern boundary of Section 22; thence north and then east by the boundary-line of Section 22 to the south corner of Section 13A, Block XIV, Hukerenui S.D.; thence north-east along the south-east boundary-line of Section 13A to its eastern boundary corner; thence north-west along the north-east boundary-line of Section 13A to the western boundary corner of Section 11, being the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of (£1,000) one thousand pounds [being 10 per cent. additional on a loan of £10,000 authorized to be raised by a poll of ratepayers taken on the 1st day of October, 1913, the said loan of (£10,000) ten thousand pounds having proved insufficient] for the purpose of completing the installation of electricity in the Borough of Feilding, and making any necessary extensions for lighting the streets and supplying the inhabitants with light and power, for erecting the required buildings, providing all machinery, plant, and other things necessary for the proper installation of such electrical scheme, the said Borough Council makes and levies a special rate of five one-hundred-and-twenty-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, and be payable half-yearly on the last days of November and May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 11th day of June, 1914.

BOROUGH OF INVERCARGILL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE IN RESPECT OF CENTRE AREA SANITATION LOANS OF £31,000 AND £5,100 (MAKING TOGETHER £36,100) PASSED AT A MEETING OF THE INVERCARGILL BOROUGH COUNCIL HELD ON THE 11TH DAY OF JUNE, 1914.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Invercargill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £31,000 and a loan of £5,100 (making together £36,100), authorized to be raised by the Invercargill Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction and laying of sanitary works, sewers, and pipes, with machinery and plant, within that part of the borough hereinafter specified, the said Invercargill Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area, being and comprising that part of the Borough of Invercargill bounded on the north by Gala Street, on the east by Deveron Street, on the south by Forth Street, and on the west by the New River Estuary; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loans, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loans, being a period of twenty years ending on the first day of October, 1932, or until the loans are fully paid off. The first instalment of such special rate to be for the period commencing on the 1st day of July, 1914, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1915, and to be payable on the 1st day of November, 1914.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds (£7,500), authorized to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing, providing, establishing, and furnishing a town hall for municipal offices and other purposes of public enjoyment and recreation, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eightpence in the pound upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga, comprising the whole of the Borough of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
At a meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council held on the 11th day of May, 1914, the foregoing resolution was proposed by the Mayor (Mr. B. C. Robbins) and seconded by Councillor J. G. Green, and carried.
