Notifying Land in Southland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WALLACE COUNTY.—CENTRE HILL SURVEY DISTRICT.

Rural Land.

SECTION 5, Block VIII: Area, 65 acres 2 roods 19 perches; upset price, £200.

Weighted with £27 18s., valuation for fencing.

Open level land, the northern half being light and shingly; remainder has good soil, but is subject to flood. Situated about eight miles from Mossburn Railway-station, with frontage to two roads, one of which is the main road to Te Anau.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-second day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Setting apart Crown Land in Taumata mahoe Survey District, Wellington Land District, as an Endowment for Primary Education.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN accordance with the provisions of section fifty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1913, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as an endowment for primary education.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by measurement 1,115 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block I, Taumata mahoe Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Whakaihuwaka C Block; towards the east generally by Section 3, Block I, Taumata mahoe Survey District; towards the south generally by Taunoka Road; and towards the west generally by Section 6 of said Block I: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912 693F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
