of the City of Wellington so as to include therein the pieces
of land described in the Schedule hereto, being lands re-
claimed from the sea adjacent to the said city :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the bound-
aries of the said city are hereby altered so as to include
within the limits of the said city the lands described in the
said Schedule hereto, being lands reclaimed from the sea
adjacent to the said city.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood
2 perches, more or less, being the area vested in the Welling-
ton Harbour Board by Order in Council of the 25th April,
1887, and described in the second part of the Schedule on
page 547 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 28, of the 28th
April, 1887; as the same is delineated on the plan marked
W.R., P.W.D. 14067, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 21 acres
6 perches, more or less, being the area described in the
First Schedule to the Wellington Harbour Board Reclama-
tion and Empowering Act, 1903; as the same is delineated
and edged in pink on the plan deposited at the office of the
Marine Department, at Wellington, and marked M.D. 2636.
Also all that area containing by admeasurement 5 acres
3 roods 10 perches, more or less, being the area described in
the First Schedule to the Wellington Harbour Board Recla-
mation and Empowering Act 1903 Amendment Act, 1906; as
the same is delineated and edged pink on the plan deposited
at the office of the Marine Department, at Wellington, and
marked M.D. 2988.
Also all that area reclaimed from the waters of Port Nichol-
son bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore
of Evans Bay, distant 2434 links south and 10952 links east
from Mount Cook Initial Station; thence bearing 117° 24′,
distance 206·06 links, bearing 80° 28′, distance 157·58 links,
bearing 2° 30′, distance 206·06 links, bearing 27° 43′, distance
348·5 links (scaled); and thence along high-water mark of
the sea as it existed before the land was reclaimed to the
place of commencement.
Also all that area reclaimed from the waters of Port Nichol-
son bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shore
of Evans Bay distant 1860·72 links south and 11775·16 links
east from Mount Cook Initial Station; thence due north
460·03 links, and bearing 290° 58′, distance 91·17 links; and
thence along high-water mark of the sea as it existed before
the land was reclaimed to the place of commencement.
Also all that area described in the Third Schedule to the
Wellington City Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1906;
as the same is delineated on a plan deposited in the office of
the Minister of Marine, at Wellington, marked M.D. 2940,
and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this fifth day of
May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and fourteen.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the
Purposes of a Road in the Borough of West Harbour,
near Ravensbourne.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land taken for the purposes of the
Waitaki-Bluff Railway, and it is considered desirable to
allocate such land to the purposes of a road :
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of
Railways that such land is not required for railway
purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the
Borough of West Harbour, the local authority of which
has assented to the issue of this Proclamation :
And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion
that the said local authority can conveniently construct
and maintain the said road :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be
under the control of the West Harbour Borough Council,
and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner
as other public highways are controlled and maintained by
the said Council.

posited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured blue.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, con-
venience, and enjoyment of the Stratford-Kawa-
kawa Railway to take further land in Ngatimaru Survey
District, in addition to land previously acquired for the pur-
poses of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
