plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended
the Governor to declare such land to be Crown land :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by the above-in-part-
recited Acts, and of all other powers in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto
to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and that
such land may be administered and disposed of under that
Act accordingly.

Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this twenty-eighth
day of April, in the year of our Lord one thou-
sand nine hundred and fourteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block VIII, Cape
Survey District, Parihaka Road District, Egmont County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908, for a certain public workโ€”to wit, for the purposes
of a road in Block VIII, Cape Survey District, Parihaka
Road District, Egmont County :

And whereas the Egmont Road Board has laid before the
Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the
statutory declaration, as required by the said Act :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Pro-
clamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day
of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Act, 1908, for a certain public workโ€”to wit, for the pur-
poses of a road in Blocks VII and XI, Takahue Survey
District :

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law
to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such
land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been
observed and performed :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every
other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the
purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third
day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
