Additional Land at Mercer taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Mercer, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 21286, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue, red, sepia, yellow, and green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Tamaki to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation, declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway by a Proclamation dated the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36, of the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and one: And
ERRATA.—In New Zealand Gazette No. 4, of the 23rd January, 1914, page 159, for “Alfred Herbert Ross, of Raetihi,” appointed an officer for the purposes of Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, read “Alfred Herbert Ross, of Karioi.”
In the seventh line of the first column of the Schedule to the Proclamation taking land for the purposes of a road in Block XV, Orahiri Survey District, published in Gazette No. 38, page 1436, of 9th April, 1914, for “01 perch” read “0·1 perch.”
