MAORI LAND ADMINISTRATION NOTICES.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marau Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tolaga Bay on Saturday, the 25th day of April, 1914, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Marau Block be granted to John Bentham Morris, of Tolaga Bay, for a term of twenty-one years from the date thereof at a rental equivalent to 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, and with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equivalent to 5 per cent. on the then Government valuation thereof (unimproved).”

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tuawhatu 1B2 No. 2B Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tolaga Bay on Saturday, the 25th day of April, 1914, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Tuawhatu 1B2 No. 2B Block be granted to Wi te Hauwaho, of Tolaga Bay, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. of the present Government valuation, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved valuation, or to compensation for all improvements effected by the lessee failing such renewal.”
