Extending Hour for closing Polls, Upper Hutt Town District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of March, 1914.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, as amended by the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the hour at which all polls to be held and taken in the Upper Hutt Town District shall close to seven oβclock in the afternoon of the day appointed.

Otaki Town District not to be Part of County of Horowhenua.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of March, 1914.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Governor is satisfied that the population of the Otaki Town District, in the County of Horowhenua, exceeds five hundred, and the Town Board of the said Otaki Town District has made application that the said town district shall not form part of the County of Horowhenua, being the county within the boundaries of which it is situated.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1908 (No. 2), and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the Otaki Town District shall not form part of the County of Horowhenua.
