CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by the Customs Law Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Francis Marion Bates Fisher, Minister of Customs, do hereby appoint that the undermentioned building at the Port of Auckland shall be a place where goods may be deposited for examination on the landing thereof, namely:—
Wharf shed No. 7, situated on the northern wharf.

Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence for Henry Martindale and Scott and Martindale, Wellington.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person and firm whose names and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in receiving money as the consideration for an assurance or agreement implied to pay money on events relating to horse-races, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person or the said firm shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person or the said firm (either by his or its own or any fictitious or assumed name), shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.

TAKA-SHIMA LIGHTHOUSE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the character, candle-power, and visible distance of the light of Taka-shima Lighthouse, at the entrance to Yobuko Harbour, Province of Hizen, have been changed as follows:—
Character of light: Acetylene-gas flashing white light showing one flash every four (4) seconds.
Power: White light, 160 candles; red light, 60 candles; green light, 40 candles.
Visibility in clear night: White light, 11 nautical miles; red light, 8 nautical miles; green light, 7 nautical miles.
