A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Hawke's Bay County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Maungaharuru Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road and Gravel-pit in Block VIII, Te Kawau Survey District, Manawatu County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road and gravel-pit in Block VIII, Te Kawau Survey District, Manawatu County:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a road and gravel-pit:
And whereas the Manawatu County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, together with a map in duplicate, as required by the Public Works Act, 1908;
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road, and shall vest in His Majesty the King, and that the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a gravel-pit, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Manawatu; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public workโto wit, for the purposes of a road in Block II, Hunua Survey District;
And whereas the Manunui Town Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
