All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 20·2 perches, more or less, being part Lot 3 of Section 214, Town of Porangahau. Bounded towards the north-east by Lot 2 of said Section 214, a distance of 100 links; towards the south-east by Abercromby Street, a distance of 126·29 links; towards the south-west by a public road, a distance of 100 links; and towards the north-west by other portion of Lot 3 of Section 214 aforesaid, a distance of 126·29 links, to the starting-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/338B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Purpose to which Portion of Reserve is hereby changed.

Opening Settlement Lands in Southland Land District for Selection.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Thursday, the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

IMPROVEMENTS.
The improvements which go with the sections are as follows: Section 1—938 chains of boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £293. Section 2—1,503 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, sheep-yards, and dip, valued at £811 11s. Section 3—889 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £465 18s. Section 4—913 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £418 2s. 6d. Section 5—210 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £82 13s. Section 6—241 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £99 3s. 6d.
The improvements which do not go with the land, but which must be paid for separately, comprise: Section 2—four-roomed cottage, stable, men's hut, woolshed, and smithy, of a total value of £595. Section 4—six-roomed house, washhouse, stable, hut, and cow-byre, of a total value of £475.

Opening Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale or Selection.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Wednesday, the fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

The improvements included in the capital values consist of: Section 1—Boundary and internal fencing, orchard, stable and shed, whare with chimney, fowl-house, and old whares, the whole valued at £199 4s. Section 2—Boundary and internal fencing, valued at £86 4s. Section 3—Boundary and road fencing, valued at £73 15s.
The improvements which are not included in the capital values, but which must be paid for separately, comprise: Section 1—Nearly new four-roomed dwelling, lined, with iron roof, verandah, double brick chimney, tank, and shed, valued at £275.
