Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Taranaki Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.


SCHEDULE:

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 25 perches, more or less, being Sections 16, 17, 18, 19, and 60, Tahoma Township, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Tahoma Road, 162·09 links; towards the north-east by Section 15, Tahoma Township, 273·05 links; towards the east generally by Armstrong Street, 537·31 links, 104·08 links, 98·12 links, 81·59 links, and by part Section 17, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 170·72 links; towards the south by part Section 17, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 303·45 links; and towards the west by Section 13, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 921·43 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1914/20A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. As a site for a public school.

Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 33 perches, more or less, being Section 37, Tahoma Township, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 36, Tahoma Township, 215·07 links; towards the south-east by Tahoma Road, 193·5 links; and towards the west by Section 13, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 303·65 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1914/20B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. As a site for a roadman's cottage.

Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 5 perches, more or less, being Sections 44, 45, 46, 47, and 48, Tahoma Township, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Simpson Street, 219·46 links and 201·32 links; towards the north-east by Simpson Street, 197·07 links and 497·03 links; towards the south-east generally by part Section 17, Block VI, Pouatu Survey District, 124·8 links and 166·22 links; and towards the south-west by part Section 17 aforesaid and Waiau Road, 424·94 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1914/20C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public recreation-ground.

Land temporarily reserved as a Resting-place for Travelling Stock in Pohaturoa Survey District, Westland Land District.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Westland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a resting-place for travelling stock.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 232 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 1241, Block XII, Pohaturoa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by the road along the left bank of the Grey River, 2534·2 links; towards the north-east generally by the Grey-Maruia Road, 2880·5 links, and right lines, 196·3 links and 7407 links respectively; towards the south-east by a right line, 2243·6 links; and towards the south-west by the road along the right bank of Robinson River, 10342·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1914/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Land temporarily reserved as an Addition to a Public Cemetery in Block I, Benger Survey District, Otago Land District.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as an addition to a public cemetery.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 7A, Block I, Benger Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 7 of said Block, 500 links; towards the east by part of Section 84 of said Block, 290 links; towards the south by Domain Road, 500 links; and towards the west by part of aforesaid Section 84, 290 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 43344/2, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Town of Porangahau, Hawke's Bay Land District.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, have been duly complied with in respect of the land described in Part II of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before Parliament, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in Part II of the Schedule hereto from that named in Part I to that named in Part III of the said Schedule.
