the north-east generally by a stream forming the southern boundary of Section 24A, Block XII, Apiti Survey District, by the Tunipo Road, by its crossing, and again by that road, and by Section 24B of said block, 1009·7 links; towards the south-east by Section 23, Block XII aforesaid, 4330 links; towards the south-west generally by a road and Riverbank Reserve, 1 chain wide, along the northern bank of the Horopito Stream; and towards the north-west generally by a road and riverbank reserve along the eastern bank of the Makiekie Stream, by the Tunipo Road, and again by the road and riverbank reserve aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 723/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Additional Land at Greymouth taken for the Purposes of the Greymouth–Hokitika Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Greymouth–Hokitika Railway to take further land at Greymouth, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.


SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of the Piece of Land. Being Portion of Situated in Block Situated in Town of
A. R. P. 0 2 21·31 Section 208, part of Native Reserve No. 31 (S.O. 1733) 32 Greymouth.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 20990, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
