Notice published pursuant to Section 18, subsection (3) of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1913.

NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out probate, the Public Trustee has filed in the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington an election to administer the estates of the following deceased testate persons, whose names, residences, and occupations, so far as known, are respectively set out hereunder, and whose properties are estimated not to exceed the sum of £400 in each case:—

George Gregor Ower, late of Purakanui, Dunedin, retired carpenter.
John Gammell, late of Seatoun, Inspector of Schools.
Elizabeth Galbally, late of Wellington, bookseller and stationer.
Stephen Maher, late of Panmure, Stockman.
Charles Mayo Harrow, late of Christchurch, gardener.
Harriet Frances Woods, late of Lawrence, married woman.
William Hall, late of Invercargill, bootmaker.
Benjamin Inneson, late of Palmerston North, carpenter.
Timothy Barrett, late of Paroa, miner.
Robert Smith Pattison, late of Ngaturi, Wellington, carpenter.
Thomas Frederick Ellis, late of Havelock North, farm-manager.
William Corkill, late of Ohingaiti, seaman.
Charlotte Martha Peterson, late of Picton, married woman.

Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments.

To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, being Lot 4 of the Kensington Subdivision of Allotment 1 of the Parish of Whangarei, Marsden County. Bounded towards the north-east by Lot 3 of the said subdivision, 145ft. 2in.; towards the south-east by Kensington Street, 48ft. 2in.; towards the south-west by Park Avenue, 145ft. 2in.; and towards the north-west by Lot 5 of the said subdivision, 48ft. 2in. The last registered owner of the land is Elizabeth Wilson Pierce, of Broken Hill, New South Wales, Matron, who cannot now be traced.

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries and has been unable to find the owner of the above-described land or any agent of such owner in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land; and if he fails or neglects so to do, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II).

Bounded towards the north-west by Rayner Street, 100 links; towards the north-east by Section 486, 249·5 links; towards the south-east by Section 485, 100 links; and towards the south-west by Section 482, 249·5 links. The last registered owner of the land is George Gallagher, of Temuka, Labourer, who cannot now be traced.

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has instituted inquiries and has not thereby been able to find the owner of the above-described land, and believes that the said owner has no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owner, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee his title to the said land; and if he fails or neglects so to do, the Public Trustee will exercise the powers and authorities granted to him in and by the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II).

Public Service Stores Tender Board.

Wellington, 17th February, 1914.

TENDERS are invited for the supply of groceries, bread, boots, and meat for the Industrial School at Mount Albert for the period 1st April to 31st December, 1914.

Tenders, to be addressed to the undersigned, marked on the covering envelope “Tender for industrial school supplies,” will be received up to noon on the 2nd day of March, at the office of the Public Service Stores Tender Board, Wellington. General conditions may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the school and at the Chief Post-office, Auckland.
Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of £10.

Tenders to be addressed to the undersigned, marked on the covering envelope “Tender for industrial school supplies,” will be received up to noon on the 2nd day of March, at the office of the Public Service Stores Tender Board, Wellington. General conditions may be seen and forms of tender obtained at the training farm, and at the office of the Education Department, Wellington.
Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of £10.
