Officers authorized to convene General or District Courts-martial.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section thirteen of the Defence Amendment Act, 1912, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby authorize the undermentioned officers to convene General or District Courts-martial for the trial under that Act of such persons subject to military law as are for the time being within the territorial limits of their respective commands :—
Colonel ALFRED WILLIAM ROBIN, C.B., C.M.G., T.D., New Zealand Staff Corps, Commandant and Quartermaster-General, New Zealand Forces.
Colonel JOSEPH COWIE NICHOLS, v.d., A.D.C., Officer Commanding the Otago Military District, and Commander Otago Mounted Rifles Brigade.
Colonel ROBERT WARD TATE, Officer Commanding the Wellington Military District, and Commander Wellington Infantry Brigade.
Lieutenant-Colonel JOHN EDWARD HUME, Royal New Zealand Artillery, Officer Commanding the Auckland Military District.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Auckland Land District for Other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908, as amended by section seventeen of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor, whenever he deems it expedient in the public interest, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land which is subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land, and on any such exchange to pay or receive by way of equality of exchange any sum not exceeding twenty-five per centum of the estimated value of the Crown land so granted:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto for the land of equal value described in the Second Schedule hereto, and the owner of the land described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the area of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the land described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF CROWN LAND AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 7 acres, more or less, being Section 8, Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 252·2 links; towards the east by a public road, 2837·3 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 290·7 links; and towards the west by Section 1, Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, 2927·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XXII/773A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 16744, blue.)
SECOND SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 3 acres 2 roods 22 perches, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District. Bounded towards the cast by the crossing of a public road, and Section 6, Block XV, Kawakawa Survey District, 527·l links; towards the south by Section 6 aforesaid, across a public road, and again
by Section 6 aforesaid, 1248·4 links ; towards the west by Section 6 aforesaid and across a public road, 362·3 links; and towards the north generally by Section l, Block XV aforesaid, 204·3, 223·7, 139·8, 707·6, and 257·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XXII/773B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 16744, blue.)
