THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that I hereby resume possession of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land held under occupation with right of purchase license as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section 10 (formerly part of Section 9), Block IV, Tennyson Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 8, Block IV, Tennyson Survey District, 329·3 links; towards the east and south by remaining portion of said Section 9, 311·2 links and 329 links respectively; and towards the west by a public road, one chain wide, 297 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. VI/6 (26), deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes as aforesaid; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 9 perches, portion of Section 32 (Ruapekapeka Parish); 5 acres 2 roods 19 perches, portion of Huiarau Block.
Situated in Block I, Hukerenui Survey District (16831, blue).
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36010, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
