of Ruarakaiputara 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Wairoa on Tuesday, the 15th day of December, 1914, at
2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the
following proposed resolution:—
“ That the said block, containing 71 acres, more or less, be
sold to Elizabeth Bellamy, wife of Arthur Bellamy, of Eskdale,
sheep-farmer, at the present Government valuation.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Tukurangi Native Reserve is summoned and will be held,
in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Wairoa on Tuesday, the 15th day of December, 1914, at
2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the
the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the said land be leased to Teo Ruawai and Ngahiraka
Kopu, as tenants in common in equal shares, for a period of
twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per
annum of the present Government valuation of the said land,
together with the right to a renewal for a further term of
twenty-one years at a rental equal to five per centum per
annum of the then Government unimproved valuation for
the said land, or, in the event of the renewal not being taken,
the right to compensation for improvements effected on the
said land up to the rate of £5 per acre.”

Native Land Act, 1909
REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Taumataoteo 4 Block is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Gisborne on Friday, the 4th day of December, 1914, at
12 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the above block be granted to Rina Maku,
of Wairoa, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental
of not less than 5 per centum on the present Government
valuation, with a right to renewal for a further term of twenty-
one years at a rental of 5 per centum on the then Government
unimproved valuation, with right to compensation for im-
provements.”

The lessor having re-enacted and recovered possession of
the above land for non-payment of rent, it is my intention
to notify such re-entry upon the Register at the expiration
of one month from the 19th day of November, 1914.
