REGULATIONS.

Red-deer stags may be taken or killed within the Canterbury Acclimatization District from the 1st day of April, 1915, to the 10th day of May, 1915 (both days inclusive).

Licenses to take or kill such deer may be issued by the Chief Postmaster at Christchurch, upon the recommendation of the secretary of the Canterbury Acclimatization Society, on payment of a license fee of £5; in the form prescribed in the Schedule hereto, and subject to the said Act and these regulations. The number of such licenses to be issued by the said Chief Postmaster shall not exceed eight. Provided that not more than one such license shall be issued to the same person; and also that if the number of applications received for licenses exceeds the number of available licenses, then the persons to whom such licenses are to be issued shall be decided by ballot.

No licensee shall take or kill more than two stags, and no stag shall be killed carrying antlers with less than ten points. Ball cartridge only to be used; provided that no metal-patched or metal-cased bullet shall be used for killing such deer.

No hind or fawn shall be taken or killed on any pretext whatever; and no licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either himself or any attendant he may have with him.

Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing any person to sell any deer or portion thereof.

All regulations as to deer “tags” in force within the said district shall be strictly adhered to by the licensee.

Any person committing a breach of any of these regulations shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding £20.

Regulations for Deer-shooting, Ashburton Acclimatization District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing the deer-shooting season in the Ashburton Acclimatization District, and the conditions affecting the same, and also the form of license and the fee payable therefor.
REGULATIONS.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
THOMAS HANA KIELY
to be a Trustee, in the place of Peter Floyd, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Ohakune Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Archibald Kerr, Ralph Heald, Robert John Lyttle, Thomas Aldridge, George Buckley, and Alfred Marsh, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
EDWARD BRITTON, and
MATTHEW MARLBOROUGH CRAMPTON
to be Trustees, in the place of Alexander Macfarlane, deceased, and John Gillam, left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Rotherham Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Thomas Chapman, John Hawdon Davison, and Lionel Murray Oliver, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Pipiriki, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
