Land taken for the Purposes of the Development of the Lake Coleridge Water-power Scheme in Block X, Christchurch Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 0·7 perches.
Portion of R.S. 1773, Block X, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).
All in the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36569, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a street in the Borough of Thames: And whereas an agreement has been entered into between the Thames Borough Council and the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a street:
And whereas the Thames Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said street, and shall as from the date hereinafter specified vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Thames; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
0·6 perches, portion of Section 556; coloured green.
1·6 ,, ,, 587 ,, yellow.
5·6 ,, ,, 594 ,, red.
5·8 ,, ,, 667 ,, purple.
Situated in Grahamstown, Borough of Thames (17396, blue). Block IV, Thames Survey District.
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36499, and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of quarries in Block X, Totoro Survey District:
And whereas the Waitomo County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said quarries as from the date hereinafter specified, and shall vest in the Corporation of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitomo; and I do also hereby direct that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken: 2 acres, part Aorangi "B" No. 2; and 2 acres, Aorangi "B" No. 4.
Situated in Block X, Totoro Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).
All in the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36580, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
