Land in Taranaki Land District declared to be subject to Section 127 of the Land Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Land Board of the Taranaki Land District has recommended that the Crown tenants of the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which they have no control preventing the profitable occupation of such lands:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix four years as the period for which the said lands shall be exempt from payment of rent and general rates.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

Sections 1 and 2, Block I, Omara Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Land withdrawn from Disposal on Village-settlement Conditions, Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fifth section of the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation of the nineteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto; and do declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said land shall be and is hereby withdrawn from disposal on village-settlement conditions.
