Laying out and taking a Road through Maioro Block,
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre
1 rood 3·6 perches.
Portion of Maioro Block.
Situated in Block XI, Thames Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
1913/1682A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red
(Auckland Plan 16644).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this twentieth day of
October, in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and fourteen.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), a
Scenery Preservation Board is constituted, and it is
enacted that such Board shall, when so directed by the
Minister charged for the time being with the administra-
tion of the said Act, inspect any lands possessing scenic or
historic interest, or on which there are thermal springs,
and make inquiries respecting the same, and report to the
Governor; and shall from time to time recommend what
lands, whether Crown or private, shall be permanently
reserved as scenic, thermal, or historic reserves: And
whereas the said Board was duly directed to inspect and
report on the land described in the Schedule hereunder,
and has recommended that the said land should be per-
manently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers contained in the
said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereunder shall be a scenic reserve
under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and subject to
the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

URURAKAU SCENIC RESERVE.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1,200 acres, more or less, and being Section 2,
Block I, and Section 7, Block IV, Maungatapu Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the south-east by Section 1 of the
before-mentioned Block I and Section 3 of the before-
mentioned Block IV; towards the south-west by Sections 13,
27, and 20, all of Square 18; towards the north-west by
Sections 19, 18, 17, 16, and 15, all of Square 18; towards the
north-east by Sections 31, 32, and 33, all of Square 18; again
towards the south-east, north-east, and north-west by Sec-
tion 58 of Square 18; and again towards the north-east by
Section 8 of Square 18; as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 672/8, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the licensee and mortgagees of the land described in the
Schedule hereto, and of the Rotorua County Council, being
the local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road: 13 acres 0 roods 2 perches.
Portion of Section 3, Block II, Horohoro Survey District.
Shown coloured blue on plan L. and S. XXII/122A.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur Wil-
liam de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road
the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road: 37·7 perches.
Portion of Crown land, situated in Block VIII, Woodville
Survey District.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
