Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Waiariki Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Waikawa No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kaha on Wednesday,
the 11th day of March, 1914, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolu-
tion:—
“ That a proposed lease of the said land to Gertrude Mabel
Barton shall be agreed to.”

Mangaroa will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Kaha on Wednesday, the 11th
day of March, 1914, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the
purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a proposed lease of part of the said land to William
Gorton Crompton shall be agreed to.”

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of the Native Land
Act, 1909, and the regulations thereunder, that
written tenders are invited and will be received at the office
of the Waikato-Maniapoto District Maori Land Board, Auck-
land, up to 5 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, 19th March, 1914,
for the purchase of the several lands named in the First
Schedule hereto; and that written tenders are also invited
and will be received at the same time and place for leases of
the several lands named in the Second Schedule hereto for a
term of twenty-two years, with right of renewal for a further
term of twenty-one years and a half.

ABSTRACT OF CONDITIONS.
LANDS FOR SALE.
-
Every tenderer to deposit along with his tender a sum
equal to 5 per cent. of the price tendered, and to pay a further
5 per cent. on being declared the purchaser; the balance of
the purchase-money to be paid in twenty equal half-yearly
instalments. -
The purchaser to pay interest on unpaid purchase-money
at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum. Interest to be payable
on the 1st July and 1st January of each year, and to date
from the signing of contract of sale. -
Tenders for purchase must be accompanied by a fee of
£3 3s., to meet costs and expenses incidental thereon, together
with the amount with which the section is loaded for im-
provements (if any). -
Purchaser shall, at the end of five years, upon payment
of balance of purchase-money, be entitled to a transfer of the
fee-simple of the land. -
Residence and improvements to conform with sec-
tions 250 to 257 of the Native Land Act, 1909.
