RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £1,500.—OMATANE NORTH.

RESOLVED, That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of trimming and metalling the Omatane North Road from Makino Junction to Mr. Riddiford’s Gate, and to fence cliff near Section 9, Block I, Ruahine Survey District, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and three-fifths (1⅗d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Omatane North Special-rating District, comprising the following: Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Native Reserve 6, and Scenery Reserve 7, in Block XIV, Pukeokahu Survey District; Scenery Reserve 12 in Block XIV, Pukeokahu Survey District; and Block I, Ruahine Survey District; Section 9, part Scenery Reserve 8 (182 ac. 1 rd. 24 phs.), and Gravel Reserve 10 in Block I, Ruahine Survey District; and Section 2A in Block II, Ruahine Survey District: as the said special-rating district is more particularly shown upon the map attached to the ratepayers’ consent to such loan, and thereon bordered red.
