Land taken for the Purposes of Waterworks in Block XV, Purua Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of waterworks in Block XV, Purua Survey District:
And whereas the Whangarei Borough Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said waterworks as from the date hereinafter specified, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Whangarei; and I do also hereby direct that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 0 roods 37·4 perches.
Portion of Maunu No. 1e 3b South (17685, blue).
Situated in Block XV, Purua Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36445, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a public school in Block I, Invercargill Hundred: And whereas an agreement has been entered into between the Education Board of the Education District of Southland and the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a public school:
And whereas the Education Board of the Education District of Southland has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Education Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said public school, and shall as from the date hereinafter specified vest in the Education Board of the Education District of Southland; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, for scenic purposes in Block XIV, Oparara Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the seventeenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.
