Amended Scale of Fees under the Servants’ Registry Offices Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of January, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise of the power conferred upon him by the Servants’ Registry Offices Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke, as from the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the Order in Council made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at page 1260; and in lieu thereof doth hereby prescribe the following scale of fees chargeable by and payable to license-holders in respect of the hiring of servants, to come into force as from the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Amending Regulations for Trout and Perch Fishing in the Auckland Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of January, 1914.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 78, of the seventeenth day of the same month, a regulation was made providing that artificial fly only shall be used for taking fish in that portion of the Waihou River which lies between the bridge next below the Okoroire Hotel and the bridge at Tirau:

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulation in the manner hereinafter described:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council in so far as it applies to that portion of the Waihou River which lies between its junction with the Waimakariri River and the bridge at Tirau, but not further or otherwise.

Consenting to a Mortgage of Native Land.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 30th day of January, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that no instrument of alienation of Native land by way of mortgage or charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:

And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of mortgage of the block or parcel of land set out in the Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.
