Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Takanini, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Declaring a certain Area added to County of Whangaroa to be included in the Totara Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, the Governor in Council, in pursuance of section sixteen of the Counties Act, 1908, approved an agreement between the Councils of the Counties of Mangonui and Whangaroa for the alteration of the boundaries of the said counties by including a certain area within the Whangaroa County as on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the Whangaroa County should be included in the Totara Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that as on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the area included as aforesaid in the Whangaroa County shall be included in the Totara Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF TOTARA RIDING.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the sea, from a point in line with the western boundary of Section No. 73, Block III, Mangonui Survey District, to Whangaroa Harbour; thence towards the east generally by that harbour to the western boundary of the Kaeo Riding at Pupuke River, and by the last-mentioned boundary to the north-eastern boundary of the Parish of Pupuke; thence towards the south-west generally by that parish to Mangonui County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 85, of the 27th November, 1913, page 3527, to the place of commencement.
