HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, transfers, and resignations of the undermentioned New Zealand Staff Corps and Territorial Force Officers :-
New Zealand Staff Corps.
Captain Rayner Barrington Smythe, to be seconded, whilst undergoing a course of instruction at the Staff College, Camberley. Dated 19th October, 1913.
Captain Charles William Melvill, to be seconded, whilst undergoing a course of instruction at the Staff College, Camberley. Dated 31st October, 1913.
Captain William Livingstone Hatchwell Burgess, to be seconded, whilst serving on exchange with the Commonwealth Military Forces. Dated 6th November, 1913.
1st Mounted Rifles (Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry).
Captain Arthur Roberts Fear resigns his commission. Dated 10th November, 1913.
4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles.
Lieutenant Charles Francis Eyles Barton is transferred to the Unattached List (a). Dated 12th December, 1913.

Lieutenant Robert Stirrat McQuarrie to be Captain, vice J. G. Rose, deceased. Dated 19th August, 1913.

14th (South Otago) Regiment.
Lieutenant (on probation) Stanley Rice is confirmed in his rank.
