DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership business formerly carried on at Waipukurau by Ernest Arthur Urwin and Frank Eyre, as printers and newspaper proprietors, under the name of "Urwin and Eyre," has been dissolved. All debts owing to the late partnership will be received by Frank Eyre, who will also discharge liabilities and continue the business in his own name.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership hitherto existing between Charles Willcox Smith and Joseph Godfrey Holdsworth, carrying on business as "B. Smith and Co.," has been dissolved by mutual consent. The said Joseph Godfrey Holdsworth will continue to carry on the said business, and will receive all moneys due to the said partnership, and will discharge all liabilities of the said partnership.

PAPATOETOE ROAD BOARD.
BY-LAWS OF THE BODY CORPORATE UNDER THE NAME OF "THE INHABITANTS OF THE PAPATOETOE ROAD DISTRICT" MADE AND ENACTED BY THE PAPATOETOE ROAD BOARD.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Public Works Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Dog Registration Act, 1908, the Public Health Act, 1908, and its amendments,
and by all or any other statutes it thereunto enabling, the Road Board of the Papatoetoe Road District do hereby make and enact the following by-laws (to come into effect on the gazetting thereof), namely :-
PART I.
GENERAL PROVISIONS.
Interpretation.

  1. In the interpretation of these by-laws, unless inconsistent with the context,-
    "Board" means the Papatoetoe Road Board;
    "District" means the Papatoetoe Road District as defined by the New Zealand Gazette of the 18th day of May, 1883, page 651, and any alterations thereof which may from time to time be legally made:
    "District Health Officer" means the District Health Officer of the public health district within which the district is situate:
    "Footpath" means any portion of the road laid off or formed for the use of pedestrians solely:
    "House" includes hotel, boardinghouse, and any building in which human beings dwell or are intended to dwell, and includes a shop with dwelling-rooms attached:
    "Inspector of Nuisances" means the Inspector of Nuisances for the time being appointed by the Board, or if there be no such Inspector appointed then the Clerk of the Board shall be deemed the Inspector of Nuisances for the purposes of these by-laws:
    "Occupier" in respect of any premises means the person by whom or on whose behalf such premises are actually occupied, and in the case of a factory includes any agent, manager, foreman, or other person acting or apparently acting in the general management or control of such factory, and in the case of any premises not actually occupied by any person means the owner of such premises:
    "Owner" in respect of any premises means the person for the time being entitled to receive the rack-rent thereof, or who would be so entitled if the same were let to a tenant at rack-rent:
    "Offensive matter" includes offal, putrid or decayed animal or vegetable matter or fish, the refuse of fruit and vegetables, carrion, dead animals, and any other matter giving off an offensive odour or being in any way injurious to health:
