Consenting to stopping Roads in Blocks XV and XVI, Tokomaru, and III and IV, Uawa Survey Districts, Waiapu County.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of December, 1913.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained :
And whereas the Waiapu County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the roads described in the Schedule hereto :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waiapu County Council stopping the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

All in the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Prohibiting all Private Alienation of certain Native Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of December, 1913.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
