WHANGAROA COUNTY.

All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north and north-east generally by the sea from a point in line with the western boundary of Section No. 73, Block III, Mangonui Survey District, to the mouth of the Takou River; thence towards the south-east generally by that river to the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 1, Block VIII, Kaeo Survey District; thence by Old Land Claims Nos. 7 and 8 to the eastern boundary of Old Land Claim No. 803; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Old Land Claim No. 803, and across a road to Section No. 1, Block XI, Kaeo Survey District; thence by Sections Nos. 1 and 2, Block XI aforesaid, Old Land Claim No. 28, Mokau Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, and part of the original southern boundary of Whangaroa County as described in the Counties Act, 1886, through a State forest reserve in Blocks X and XI, Kaeo Survey District, to the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 15, Block X aforesaid; thence by the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 15, 16, and 17 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south-west generally by Pupuke Parish to Mangonui County hereinbefore described; and thence towards the west generally by Mangonui County to the place of commencement.

Amending Order in Council bringing certain Provisions of the Mining Act into Force within certain Parts of New Zealand.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 71, of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1908, and the regulations made thereunder, were brought into force within certain parts of New Zealand: And whereas it is desirable that the said Order in Council be amended:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Mining Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said Order in Council by substituting the word “exclusive” for “inclusive” in the Second Schedule thereto.

Amending Scale of Dues for the Use of the Howick Wharf.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 24, of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, the management of the wharf at Howick was vested in the Howick Township Road Board (hereinafter called “the Board”), and dues and rates for the use of the said wharf were prescribed:

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said dues and rates and to prescribe others in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section thirteen of the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the dues and rates prescribed by the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council, and doth hereby prescribe that the dues and rates prescribed in the Schedule hereto shall be taken and charged for the use of the said wharf.


SCHEDULE.

WHARFAGE.

On each small boat or launch anchored or moored near the wharf or fastened thereto by a line or chain, per annum in advance .. .. 0 10 0
On each regular trading-vessel occupying a berth alongside the said wharf, per quarter .. .. 1 10 0
On each excursion-boat or casual trader lying alongside the wharf, per day or part of a day .. 0 3 0

Authorizing the Exchange of a Reserve in the Nelson Land District for other Land.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of November, 1913.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto is a reserve for municipal purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that described in the Second Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the twelfth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said land described in the First Schedule hereto may be exchanged for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF RESERVE AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 53, Village of Murchison, and bounded as follows: On the north by Section 54 of the said village, 1000 links; on the east by Fairfax Street, 200 links; on the south by Section 52, 1000 links; and on the west by Section 26, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/830A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE OBTAINED IN EXCHANGE THEREFOR.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section 46, Village of Murchison, and bounded as follows: On the north by Section 45 of the said village, 900 links; on the east by Section 22, 200 links; on the south by Section 47, 900 links; and on the west by Fairfax Street, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/830B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
